Nook or Kindle

Hello barber-ians,

Today's post serves two purposes: an announcement and a question. First, the announcement. I have decided to throw my hat into the ring of the book review blogger. I will, of course, review mainstream novels that I read by established authors, but primarily I hope to focus on novels by Indy authors. Being an Indy author myself I believe I have particular insights into the trials faced by those of us who walk that path. If you are an Indy author who wishes me to review your book, feel free to contact me on my blog or through the email function on my website. This segues into the question.

Do you prefer the Nook or Kindle for your e-reader? B&N has been my favorite book store for quite  few years, so when I bought my first e-reader it seemed only natural to get the Nook. Today, however, I was in Staples and looked at the new Kindle Fire HD with the 8.9" screen. I must say that I really liked it. I liked the user interface and there were an amazing number of very cool apps available. Plus there actually seem to be more books available for the kindle than for the Nook. So, which do you use?

Thanks Barber-ians and, as always, Keep Reading!

Kenneth
